Job summary

Cognizant in Toronto is seeking an nCino Tech Lead to oversee the development and implementation of nCino solutions aligned with client needs and business goals. The ideal candidate will have strong technical background with nCino and Salesforce, plus leadership and communication skills.

The role supports a hybrid work model requiring 3 days per week in a Cognizant office in Toronto, with a focus on scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SFDC development experience with a minimum 1 year in nCino Bank OS.
• Strong knowledge of nCino UI components (Group, Routes, Screens).
• Experience with product catalogs, entities involvement, collateral management, covenants.
• Proficiency in nCino Loan Origination, Core Banking (Deposits, Lending, Digital Banking).
• End-to-end credit cycle knowledge and ability to run architecture sessions.
• Hands-on Apex, Visualforce, triggers, and LWC; no-code flow/configs (Flows, Process Builder).
• Experience integrating Salesforce with cloud/on-premise apps via REST APIs; HTML5/JS/jQuery.
• OAuth authentication; Salesforce Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud knowledge.
• Agile/Scrum experience; source control and release tools (GitHub, Copado).
• Salesforce Platform Developer II and nCino certifications preferred.

The nCino Tech Lead will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of nCino solutions, ensuring that they meet our clients' needs and align with our business goals. Required Qualifications

• Candidate should have 5+ years of profound SFDC development with minimum 1 years of working experience in nCino Bank Operating System Application
• Should have good hands on experience in configuring nCino UI Group ,Routes, Screens etc
• Should have expertise in configuring product catalog, product package, entities involvement, exposure, collateral management, covenants etc.
• Strong knowledge in nCino Loan Origination process, Core Banking Service - Deposits, Lending and Digital Banking platforms.
• Should have commercial or business banking knowledge, end2end credit cycle, ability to run business architecture design sessions as needed
• Develop high-level design for business requirements and should be able to come up with prototypes and demonstrate solution design
• Strong hands‑on experience in writing Apex programming, Visual force pages, Apex triggers, lightening web components.
• Knowledge in implementing solutions using configurations(no-code) such as Flows, process builders, workflow Rules. Etc.
• Work with technical managers, architects and business stakeholders in gathering requirements and driving team to implement the technical solutions
• Hands on experience with integrating Salesforce with cloud-based applications and on-premise applications using standard and custom REST APIs
• Good Experience in core web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript and jQuery and web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)
• Hands on experience in implementing various authentication protocols(oAuth) to integrate 3rd party applications
• Strong technical knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud
• Should be able to adopt dynamic nature of the work environments and switch between the priorities as needed.
• Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, database schemas and ETL tools
• Excellent planning, organization, time management, and written and verbal communication skills
• Perform code reviews for development team members to ensure proper coding standards.
• Experience of source control and release management tools such as GitHub, Copado
• Strong working knowledge in Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM
• Preferred Salesforce Platform Developer -2 certification and nCino certification.

Total compensation

We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $100,000 - $130,000 CAD per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
