Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Salesforce OmniStudio Tech Lead to design, develop, and deliver scalable OmniStudio solutions within our Salesforce delivery team, collaborating with architects, product owners, BAs, QA, and other stakeholders to drive enterprise digital transformations.

This role requires 8+ years in Salesforce development, 3+ years in OmniStudio, and leadership across CPQ, EPC, and Communications/Revenue Cloud.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on OmniStudio experience including OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.
• Strong development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows, and Lightning Architecture.
• Experience with Salesforce Industries solutions such as CPQ, EPC, Communications Cloud, or Revenue Cloud.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and third-party systems.
• Experience with Git, Salesforce CLI, CI/CD pipelines, and Vlocity DataPacks.
• Ability to design scalable data models, integration patterns, and modular OmniStudio frameworks.
• Proven experience leading development teams, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with stakeholders across business and technology functions.

Job description

As a Salesforce OmniStudio Tech Lead, you will make an impact by leading the design, development, and delivery of scalable Salesforce Industries solutions using OmniStudio and Salesforce platform technologies. You will be a valued member of the Salesforce delivery team and work collaboratively with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders to deliver enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives.

In this role, you will:

• Architect and implement OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures to deliver scalable and modular OmniStudio solutions.
• Lead Salesforce Industries development across CPQ, EPC, Communications Cloud, and Revenue Cloud initiatives.

What you need to have to be considered

These will help you stand out

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, OmniStudio Developer
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and Test‑Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience troubleshooting and optimizing application performance across Salesforce and OmniStudio components.
• Domain expertise within telecommunications, financial services, or communications cloud implementations.

Salary and Other Compensation

We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $70,000 – $120,000 CAD per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business‑related and job‑necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance‑based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
