Job summary

Lockheed Martin Canada is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Naval Development team, contributing to the full engineering lifecycle—from specification to field troubleshooting—on large-scale naval platform systems across Canada.

You will collaborate on system design, conduct needs and market studies, review requirements, perform MBSE, and define technical performance measures while working in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent co-op education with at least five years of professional experience, OR at least three years of professional experience with a related master's degree.
• Experience with software, systems, hardware, or maintenance lifecycle.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel within the engineering and management team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on system design activities with the Senior Systems Engineer and other engineering staff, such as supporting technical reviews.
• Conduct needs analysis.
• Conduct market studies.
• Review requirements, their allocation, and market studies.
• Perform system modeling and design, including model-based systems engineering.
• Define and monitor technical performance measures.
• Work on system architecture and design.
• Plan system integration.
• Create the design document.
• Apply system design engineering processes and best practices.
