Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Certification team for a large, high-complexity naval platform project in Canada. You will contribute to the full engineering lifecycle—from specification through deployment and field support—within a multi-discipline group using MBSE and rigorous SE processes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with senior engineers, requirements analysis, system modelling, architecture, and integration planning.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in System Engineering or related field.
• MS Office proficiency (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Visio).
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eligible for NATO Secret clearance in a timely manner.
• Available for eight (8) months, full-time starting January 2027.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on system design with senior SE and other engineers.
• Perform certification requirements analysis.
• Model and design using MBSE.
• Develop system architecture and design.
• Plan system integration and manage tasks in JIRA.
• Document design and follow SE processes.
• Maintain team information in Confluence.
