3GA Marine Ltd. is a full-service naval architecture and marine engineering company with offices in Victoria and Burnaby. We seek a Naval Architect to develop innovative solutions for diverse clients and to work under senior staff to learn, grow and deliver exceptional engineering work.

You will use advanced software, participate in surveys and design tasks across vessel projects, and benefit from mentorship, safety training and a collaborative environment that values professional development.

Qualifications

• Strong technical writing skills with ability to produce detailed specs and reports.
• Working knowledge of Rhino, AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Familiar with hull, stability and structure aspects of vessel design.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with 3GA policies.
• Self-starter with integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute technical activities on complex vessel design projects.
• Collaborate with senior naval architects, engineers and project managers.
• Perform design, documentation development, analysis and modeling.
• Participate in construction stages; solve problems and recommend actions.
• Undertake onsite vessel surveys including inclining experiments; training provided.
