Job summary

MNP in Canada seeks a Manager for the National Tax Services Group to deliver tax services, develop training materials, and uphold firm standards. You will mentor staff and coordinate tax publications while supporting cross-country teams.

The ideal candidate holds a CPA, IDTP L1-L2, 4–5 years of public accounting tax experience, and is bilingual in French and English. This role offers competitive pay, vacation, and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• CPA designation is required.
• Completion of level 1 and 2 of the In-Depth Tax Program.
• Bilingual in French and English is required due to Canada-wide collaboration.
• 4–5 years of relevant tax practice in public accounting.
• Experience with domestic tax compliance and reorganizations.
• Experience with private companies and owner-manager taxation is a plus.
• Proven leadership and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain firm standards, processes and tools to support tax services delivery.
• Manage and update tax templates reflecting updates in tax law.
• Create internal training materials and practice aids for firm standards.
• Facilitate firm-wide learning and development events as needed.
• Research changes in local tax legislation and publish internal/external tax materials.
• provide technical tax research and support across the firm.
• Prepare and participate in internal tax compliance and planning projects.
• Mentor and coach team members, give feedback and conduct reviews.
