Job summary

MNP is a leading Canadian accounting, tax and business advisory firm seeking a Senior Accountant to deliver customized tax strategies and compliant reporting within a dynamic regulatory framework. You’ll design solutions for clients, minimize risk and maximize returns as a trusted advisor, contributing to project leadership and client engagement.

Based across Canada, you will support the Tax team, mentor junior staff, and participate in business development while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration (accounting/finance major preferred).
• CPA designation in progress or completed is preferred; CFE experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax reorganizations including elections and rollovers.
• Set up client files for new entities and incorporations.
• Advise on tax policy changes and proactive tax strategies.
• Identify issues and discuss resolutions with managers/partners.
• Correspond with clients and government agencies on tax compliance.
• Prepare technical correspondence and client summaries.
