Job summary

Integrated Staffing is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to join a busy warehouse and yard team in Nova Scotia. You will operate a counterbalance forklift to unload materials, pick and pull orders, and prepare shipments for delivery, with about half your time in the warehouse and half in the yard.

The role requires a Nova Scotia forklift licence (Ontario accepted) and experience with building materials. Expect physical work, safety PPE, and a Monday–Friday schedule with a competitive CAD

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent bending, standing, and walking
• CSA-approved steel-toed boots and a hard hat required; PPE supplied

Are you an experienced forklift operator with a background in building materials? We’re looking for a reliable Forklift Operator to join a busy warehouse and yard team. In this role, you will operate a counterbalance forklift to unload building materials from delivery trucks, pick and pull customer orders, prepare shipments for delivery, and help maintain a clean, organized warehouse and materials yard. This position offers a mix of indoor and outdoor work, with approximately 50% of your time spent in the warehouse and 50% in the yard.

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a valid Nova Scotia forklift licence (Ontario certifications will also be accepted) and experience operating a counterbalance forklift. Previous experience working with building materials and in a warehouse environment, including picking and pulling orders, is required. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing frequent bending, standing, and walking throughout the day. CSA-approved steel-toed boots and a hard hat are required, all other required personal protective equipment will be supplied. Reliability is essential, and candidates must be able to consistently report to work for the duration of the assignment. A strong commitment to safety is expected, including working safely around operating forklifts and following all warehouse PPE requirements.
