Job summary

FGF Brands is seeking a Team Member – Mixer/Scaler to prepare and mix ingredients for consistent production. You will support the team and report to the Line Leader and Operations Leader, ensuring batches are measured accurately and completed on time.

You will work with a team, focusing on quality and safety while handling various mixing tasks and equipment. Training and growth opportunities are available within the company.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience, preferably in food/bakery.
• Accuracy and attention to detail; ability to detect quality issues.
• Good communication and basic math skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physically capable of lifting 25 kg.
• Flexible to work days, afternoons, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepares ingredients in mixing area per established batch list and schedule.
• Ensures lot code identification numbers are documented.
• Follows batches with precise measurements to create a specialized batter.
• Takes measurements as directed by Shift/Operations Leader.
• Operates mixing machinery and follows safety guidelines at all times.
• Uses scales, thermometers and knives safely and efficiently.
• Reports equipment malfunctions or quality issues to appropriate parties.
• Enters inventory into OMS system and maintains accurate records.
• Participates in clean up and keeps the area clean and safe.
• Follows GMPs, food safety and health and safety procedures.
