Job summary

DLL seeks a Payroll Manager to lead North American payroll operations for the US and Canada, driving accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance. The role requires strategic leadership and deep regulatory knowledge across both countries, with a focus on continuous improvement and data integrity.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in payroll systems and HRIS integrations, and will partner with Finance, HR, and external vendors to optimize processes and control risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field; CPP or PCP certification preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive payroll experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in both U.S. and Canadian payroll processing and tax compliance.
• Strong understanding of payroll systems and HRIS integrations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for U.S. and Canadian employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulations.
• Manage payroll schedules, reconciliations, and reporting cycles.
• Partner with Finance, HR, and external vendors to ensure seamless payroll integration and data integrity.
• Lead internal controls and risk mitigation strategies related to payroll and tax compliance.
• Provide strategic insights and reporting to senior leadership on payroll trends, risks, and opportunities.
