Job summary

Government of Nunavut is seeking a Business Application Support Specialist to enable MVIS/DLGIC usage, provide IT liaison services, and support business processes within Community Services. Applicants should have a MIS/CS/Engineering/IT/Business Admin diploma and at least two years of experience with process-driven applications, plus security checks.

Qualifications

• Diploma in MIS/CS/Engineering/Information Technology, Business Administration or related field.
• Two years of relevant experience in process-driven applications, integration and workflow analysis.

Responsibilities

• Answer support calls from MVIS users and provide professional, courteous assistance.
• Document calls, track status, and capture business process flows.
• Troubleshoot MVIS issues and coordinate with Community Services, TIN-IT and Vendors to resolve them.
• Review issues, translate into system solutions, and document fixes in a Knowledge Base.
• Test new software releases and report problems to stakeholders.
• Prepare regular system health and trend reports and monitor issues proactively.
