Job summary

Kativik Ilisarniliriniq (La commission scolaire du Nunavik) seeks a Specialized Information Technology Analyst to analyze, design, develop, and manage IT solutions across the school board. You will supervise analysis, coordinate a team of IT analysts, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to meet business needs.

This role requires strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, fluency in two official languages, and willingness to travel Nunavik as needed.

Qualifications

• Fluency in two official languages (Inuktitut, French or English).
• Experience with VB6, .NET (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Visual Studio).
• Experience with SQL 2016 Server and SQL language.
• Experience with VBA and PowerShell.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of Salesforce.
• Knowledge of Web services and IIS.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Knowledge of ASP.Net MVC.
• Knowledge of AJAX, JSON and SOAP.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of Office 365.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Agile methodology is an asset.
• Technical, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Experience or knowledge in education, especially indigenous education is an asset.
• Must travel throughout Nunavik when required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop and manage IT solutions to meet business needs of the school board.
• Supervise analysis and act as an expert in information systems management.
• Lead evaluation, cost-benefit analyses and project planning for IT solutions.
• Coordinate work of a team of IT analysts and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Develop documentation and provide training for information resources implementations.
• Monitor progress, ensure quality and oversee deployment of integrations.
