Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and APEGA membership.
  • 10+ years of municipal engineering experience with construction observation and contract administration.
  • Working knowledge of water and wastewater distribution and collection systems.
  • Proficiency with modelling and spreadsheet analysis software.
  • Strong construction methods aptitude.
  • Business acumen in municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Self-motivated with leadership potential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee municipal engineering projects from inception through completion.
  • Perform design, construction site inspections, and contract administration duties.
  • Develop and review engineering design drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate designs and construction inspections with multiple disciplines.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers and technologists.

This role is ideal for a professional engineer eager to work on diverse and impactful projects within a supportive and dynamic team environment.

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and membership with APEGA
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in municipal engineering, with a strong preference for candidates with hands‑on experience in construction observation and contract administration

  • Demonstrated aptitude for general construction methods
