Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and eligibility for professional membership with APEGA.
• Minimum of 5 years in municipal and transportation engineering with construction observation/contract administration.
• Experience with water and wastewater distribution and collection systems.
• Proficiency in modeling and spreadsheet analysis software.
• Proficiency in CAD design modelling software.
• Strong construction methods aptitude.
• Understanding of municipal infrastructure and transportation projects.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Self-motivated with leadership potential and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage municipal engineering projects from inception through completion.
• Perform design, construction site inspections, and contract administration duties.
• Develop and review engineering design drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Coordinate designs and construction inspections with multiple disciplines.
