Job summary

The City of Lacombe is seeking an IT Data Analyst & Solutions Developer to support data, reporting, analytics, and solution development within the Data & Technology Services department. Reporting to the Network Administrator, you will help ensure municipal services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

This role focuses on maintaining data/reporting services and building applications, automation, and AI-enabled solutions as the department evolves.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in computer science, software development, information systems, data analytics, BI, or related field.
• 2 years of related experience in data analysis, reporting, database work, application development, or business systems in public sector preferred.
• Equivalent education/experience considered; municipal experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Support data, reporting, analytics, and solution development initiatives for Data & Technology Services.
• Build reports, dashboards, or applications to solve business problems.
• Maintain and improve data/reporting services and develop AI-enabled solutions as needed.
