Job summary

City of Lloydminster is seeking a Municipal Worker 1 to join the Building Services team. You will help with daily operations, cleaning, and basic maintenance to keep City facilities in top condition.

The position requires a Grade 12 or GED and offers on-site work with varied shifts. Ability to lift up to 25 kg, and basic computer skills are expected. A security check is required prior to start and RCMP eligibility may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 or GED equivalency.
• Custodial/building maintenance experience is an asset.
• Basic safety and cleaning knowledge.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service various building locations including washrooms and offices.
• Perform general building and safety checks.
• Store materials safely and maintain logs.
• Assist staff and contractors as needed.
• Report equipment and safety issues promptly.
• Support in events and building set-ups.
