Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education in Edmonton is seeking a Multi Skilled Worker to support daily operations across housekeeping, food preparation, meal service and dishwashing. You will maintain clean resident rooms and common areas, assist with serving and setup, and adhere to health and safety guidelines.

The role requires a valid Food Handler Certificate; experience in healthcare or long-term care is a plus, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team with good English

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping and/or food services experience is an asset.
• Healthcare environment or long-term care experience preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good command of English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties in residents' rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, setup/cleanup of chairs and tables, serving meals, delivering trays, dishwashing, and keeping the kitchen clean.
• Follow health and safety guidelines; report injuries and hazards to the supervisor and fulfill other reasonable requests from management.
