8Twelve Mortgage Power Network is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to join our expanding team in Canada. You will recruit and onboard independent mortgage agents, building relationships and pipelines through online tools, events, and referrals.

The role emphasizes proactive sourcing, rigorous screening, and ongoing collaboration with management to optimize the recruitment process. A flexible, work-friendly environment is offered.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of recruiting experience required.
• Demonstrated motivation and drive to learn and hit goals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and agility to handle tasks.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with online recruiting tools and social media platforms.
• Develop and implement a proactive recruiting strategy to attract, recruit and onboard new and experienced independent mortgage agents.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of potential agents using job boards, networking events, social media, referrals, and campus outreach.
• Screen, interview, follow up and assess qualifications of prospective agents to ensure information requests are addressed.
• Build relationships with potential agents, ensuring they feel supported and valued by the brokerage.

Key Responsibilities

• Familiarity with online recruiting tools and social media platforms
• Develop and implement a proactive recruiting strategy to attract, recruit and onboard new and experienced independent mortgage agents to the brokerage
• Build and maintain a pipeline of potential agents through various sourcing techniques such as online job boards, networking events, social media, referrals, and other creative campus/industry outreach
• Manage the end‑to‑end agent screening process: screen, interview, follow up and assess the qualifications of prospective agents to ensure that all information requests are answered and addressed
• Build and nurture strong relationships with potential agents, ensuring that they feel supported and valued by the brokerage
• Attend industry events and networking functions to establish dialogue and connect with top Mortgage Agents
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to recruitment activities
• Provide ongoing feedback to management on the effectiveness of the recruiting process and suggest improvements as necessary

Mandarin, Russian, or Ukrainian language proficiency is an asset.

Requirements

• Experienced. To succeed in this role, we’re asking for 4 to 5 years' experience in recruiting

• Prioritize. Ability to understand and prioritize workflow priorities while taking initiative to begin, track, and complete tasks and/or projects

• Communicator. Strong written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with potential mortgage agents
• Listener. Skilled listener that could tune in accurately to opinions, feelings and needs of people. With demonstrated ability to be empathetic.
• Learner - The ability to adapt and learn quickly. Knowledge of the mortgage industry, including competitor offerings
• Dedicated. Vigorous work ethic, dedication, and honesty.
