Job summary

Swish Maintenance Limited is hiring an IT Systems Administrator to maintain and secure IT systems across 13 locations in Canada. You will manage identity, access, endpoints, networks, and backups in a hybrid Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environment.

The role requires 5+ years of multi-site experience, strong scripting, and hands‑on knowledge of virtualization, backups, and firewalls. On-site Peterborough, Ontario, with annual bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems administration, ideally across multiple sites.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration skills including Entra ID and Exchange Online.
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace administration.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
• Experience with firewall/SD-WAN platforms and VPN fundamentals.
• Familiar with virtualization platforms and backup/recovery practices.
• Clear communication with non‑technical staff and travel readiness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and secure IT systems and infrastructure across 13 locations.
• Oversee identity and access management, and SSO configurations.
• Automate onboarding/offboarding and bulk changes.
• Manage endpoints, policies, and software deployment.
• Maintain and test backups and disaster recovery plans.
• Monitor security posture and respond to incidents.
• Travel between sites as needed for projects and hands‑on support.
