Qualifications

• Must understand basic building principles and proper tool use.
• Able to read blueprints and interpret measurements.
• Comfortable with standard drywall dimensions and layouts.
• Strong attention to accuracy and workmanship.
• Positive attitude and reliability on site.
• Works well in a team and communicates clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and power tools to mud and tape drywall.
• Install corner beads on drywall as required.
• Mud, tape, and sand drywall joints.

Grandeur is a growing company looking for an individual to join our team as a Mudder/Taper

REPORTS TO: Lead Hand

SUMMARY: Mudding and Taping requires the use of hand tools to tape drywall joints in units and full adherence to safety compliance regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate hand tools and power tools
• Install corner beads on drywall as required
• Mud, tape, and sand drywall joints as required
• Texturing of ceilings as required
• Wall and ceiling drywall repair as required
• Assist in drywall installation as required
• Keep work area organized and clean
• Ensure work is done correctly and safely

QUALIFICATIONS:

• General building principles and tool knowledge.
• Knowledge of standard measurements.
• Blueprint literate.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to project a positive attitude.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as a team.

WORK CONDITIONS:

• Physical ability to lift up to 50lb.
• Able to operate power tools.
• Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Overtime as required.
