Job Title: MRI Technologist

Join Windsor Regional Hospital as an MRI Technologist.

Job Summary: The MRI Tech performs day-to-day imaging in the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Department, ensuring the flow of work, while working cooperatively with other team members. Responsibilities include utilizing supplies effectively, performing MRI examinations with skill and accuracy, screening patients, explaining procedures, orienting patients to the scanner and communication devices, providing support, using anti-claustrophobic techniques, and hearing protection devices as required. The incumbent applies current theory and research in care delivery, aligns with the hospital's vision and values, and adheres to professional standards. Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards is mandatory, with a proactive approach to promoting a safe work environment.

WAGE RANGE: $36.93 - $51.90

Qualifications:

• Certification as an M.R.T (MR) – required
• Current registration with CMRITO – mandatory
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team

• Knowledge of hospital and pharmacy policies
