About The Medical Imaging Department

Part of the Joint Department of Medical Imaging with University Health Network, Women’s College Hospital, and Mount Sinai Hospital, our department offers a state-of-the-art environment for clinical practice, teaching, and research. We are an international leader conducting a high volume of diverse exams for various patient populations, from emergency cases to outpatient and inpatient services.

In This Role You Will

• Produce diagnostic imaging exams of the highest quality
• Ensure patient and staff safety in the MRI environment
• Provide exceptional patient care
• Work independently and as part of a team to maximize scanner utilization
• Operate, evaluate, and troubleshoot MRI equipment and software
• Document all aspects of MR examinations thoroughly
• Participate in student education and research studies if applicable

Job Requirements

Mandatory

• Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Level II certificate
• Cross-sectional anatomy course

Preferred

• Recent experience as an MRI technologist
