Qualifications

We’re looking for a casual MRI Technologists to join our team! In this role, you’ll perform MRI exams while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You’ll work closely with radiologists and healthcare professionals, using advanced imaging technology to support accurate diagnoses. Your expertise will contribute to exceptional patient experiences and the highest standards of diagnostic imaging.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform MRI Exams: Conduct diagnostic MRI procedures following established protocols to support accurate diagnoses.
  • Ensure Patient Care & Safety: Guide patients through procedures, provide clear explanations, and maintain a safe, comfortable environment.
  • Optimize Image Quality: Adjust MRI equipment settings to produce high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to best practices.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work alongside radiologists, physicians, and medical staff to ensure accurate imaging and efficient workflow.
  • Maintain Equipment & Compliance: Follow safety protocols, perform quality control checks, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Support Process Improvements: Contribute to workflow efficiencies and best practices to enhance patient care and imaging outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Medical Radiation Technology Certification: Completion of a diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program.
  • Professional Memberships: Active membership in good standing with CAMRT and ACMDTT.
  • Certifications: Venipuncture Certification or Initiation of Intravenous Therapy Certificate, and current Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).
  • Diagnostic Imaging Excellence: Proven ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining a strong focus on patient care.
  • Collaboration & Independence: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Continuous Learning: A commitment to ongoing professional development to enhance skills and expertise.
  • Accuracy & Confidentiality: Dedication to maintaining excellence in imaging while ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of patient information.
  • Health & Safety: Strong adherence to health and safety protocols while performing procedures and operating medical imaging equipment.
  • CT Experience (an Asset): Experience in CT is considered an asset.
