Interior Health is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join the Medical Imaging Department at Kelowna General Hospital in Kelowna, BC. This casual role involves performing MRI exams, assisting Radiologists, and guiding student technologists in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, you will input data into RIS/PACS and contribute to exam planning and procedure direction. Kelowna offers a vibrant lifestyle with outdoor activities and a welcoming community.

About The Job

Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader, the MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging exams. The MRI Technologist is also responsible for assisting the Radiologists during procedures, inputting patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and providing direction regarding exams and procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.

This is a Casual opportunity. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.
