Job summary

Gardewine in Morden, MB is seeking a Class 1 Peddle Driver to deliver temperature controlled or dry freight from our terminal to surrounding communities. The role is day-focused and physically demanding, involving tailgate work and manual freight handling.

You will work Monday to Friday across Manitoba with 50+ hours weekly and overtime after 60 hours. Valid Class 1 with air brake is required; independence and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 license with airbrake endorsement in good standing.
• Ability to work independently and safely in a physical role.
• Experience with pickup/delivery activities across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight from terminal to surrounding communities (temperature controlled or dry).
• Perform tailgate work, hand bombing and wheeling as needed.
• Maintain punctual day-focused schedule with 50+ hours per week; overtime after 60 hours.

Class 1 - Peddle Driver (Morden, M.B.)

The Job

The Peddle Driver is responsible for delivering freight, either temperature controlled or dry, from terminal to surrounding communities. Work schedule will primarily be days. The position is physically demanding with freight handling needs of tailgate work, hand bombing and or wheeling in freight as needed.

• Monday to Friday City / Regional Manitoba run


• 7:00 am Start until Finished


• 50 plus Hours per week


• Overtime after 60 Hours worked in a one week


• Tailgate skid moving, hand bombing and wheeling will be required
