Job summary

Westcoast Child Care Resource Centre in Vancouver is seeking a Lead Montessori Casa teacher for ages 2.5–5. You will oversee daily operations, maintain an orderly environment, and guide the Montessori work cycle end-to-end.

You will present materials, observe children, keep lesson plans and records, mentor ECEs and assistants, and collaborate with the Principal to uphold BC licensing, health, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Montessori credential required for ages 3–6.
• BC ECE Certificate or eligibility to obtain certification before employment begins.
• Current Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong English communication, documentation, and family-relations skills.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada is required.

9. Maintain compliance with British Columbia childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.

Basic ECE

Recognized Montessori Early Childhood/Primary credential for ages 3–6. Valid British Columbia ECE Certificate, or eligibility to obtain certification before employment begins. Current Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain it. Strong English communication, documentation, and family-relations skills.
