Job summary

Barry Callebaut Group is seeking a Molding Line Attendant in Ontario, Canada. This temporary 6-month position focuses on transforming raw material into finished products on the molding line, with emphasis on food safety and worker safety guidelines.

You will operate tempering machines, monitor temperatures, adjust lines, perform CCP checks, and document QA activities. The role requires the ability to lift 55 lbs, work in heat, and move through the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Hoist Operator training and Lift Truck Certificate.
• Able to lift 55 lbs and work in heat.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust chocolate tempering machines using PLC controls, checking temperatures and settings for the depositor and cooling tunnel.
• Control and adjust conveyor speed, as well as product shape and weight according to program specifications.
• Identify production codes on products and collect samples for the Quality department.
• Perform SAP data entries and document critical control points (CCP).
• Conduct basic and preventive maintenance, reporting necessary improvements to the Supervisor or maintenance team.
• Handle materials on the production line and ensure cleanliness according to the sanitation schedule.
• Perform and document HACCP, Quality, and Safety checks.
• Communicate with the incoming Molding Line Attendant to ensure a smooth shift transition and regularly update the Lead Hand and Shift Supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with all food and employee safety policies and procedures.

About The Role

This position is responsible for all phases of transforming raw material in finished products on the Molding line. The Molding Line Attendant ensures food and employee safety in their daily routine. This is a temporary position for 6 months.

Compensation: Hourly Rate: $27.42
