Job summary

NextStar Energy in Windsor, Ontario, is seeking a motivated Module Process Engineer for a full-time permanent position. The role focuses on analyzing defects on the production line, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to reduce defects.

You will drive process improvements, train technicians, ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and 3R5S standards, and support equipment maintenance and new technology rollouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated problem solver with hands-on experience in automotive/industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Analyze defects on the production line, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to reduce defects.
• Identify and improve production process inefficiencies to prevent quality issues.
• Train, develop, and educate technicians at local sites.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and 3R5S standards.
• Manage inspection machine PMs, calibration, and parts planning to improve inspection accuracy.
