Job summary

ATCO Structures in Kamloops is seeking a Roofer (Construction Worker) to join our manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Lead Hand, the Roofer installs, repairs, and replaces roofing materials on modular buildings, with emphasis on weather-resistance and meeting building code requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience roofing with EPDM, TPO, and shingles.
• Knowledge of roofing tools, materials, and techniques.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install roofing materials according to manufacturer specifications.
• Gather material needed for assembly of units and small finishing items.
• Pre-assembly of components and reading blueprints.
• Remove existing roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installation.
• Install underlayment, flashing, drip edges, vents, and ridge caps.
• Measure and cut roofing materials to fit roof structures.
• Repair or replace damaged roofing components.
• Ensure proper sealing and waterproofing.
• Follow safety procedures and use fall-protection equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Use hand and power tools safely.
• Other duties as assigned
