Job summary

ATCO Structures in Kamloops is hiring a Roofer (Construction Worker) to install, repair, and replace roofing systems on modular buildings in a clean manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Lead Hand, you will work at heights, prioritize safety, and collaborate with a dynamic team to ensure weather-resistant roofs that meet building codes. Monday–Friday day shifts with competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a roofer with EPDM, TPO, and shingles.
• Knowledge of roofing tools, materials, and techniques.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
• Fall Arrest Safety Training completed.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Install roofing materials according to manufacturer specifications.
• Gather materials needed for assembly of units and install small finishing items.
• Pre-assembly of components, read and interpret blueprints.
• Remove existing roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installation.
• Install underlayment, flashing, drip edges, vents, and ridge caps.
• Measure and cut roofing materials to fit roof structures.
• Repair or replace damaged roofing components.
• Ensure proper sealing and waterproofing.
• Follow safety procedures and use fall-protection equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Use hand and power tools safely.
• Other duties as assigned.
