Job summary

The University of New Brunswick’s Institute of Biomedical Engineering (IBME) invites applications for a Clinic and Outreach Coordinator on the Fredericton campus. This full-time, on-campus role supports two clinics, coordinates with physicians and clinicians, and ensures smooth operations in a busy clinical setting.

You will manage patient flow, inventory, shipping/receiving, funder communications, and community outreach, while advancing IBME services across Atlantic Canada.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma in a relevant field.
• A combination of experience and education may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with patients, physicians, and clinicians for two clinics.
• Inventory management and parts ordering to ensure timely clinic operations.
• Handle shipping and receiving of parts for the clinics.
• Engage funders, insurers, and UNB finance to support long-term funding.
• Manage patient flow and explain clinical services, timelines, and insurance details.
• Promote IBME services in Atlantic Canada through outreach and materials.
• Identify process improvements and educate stakeholders to improve operations.
• Maintain the clinic website and social media/infographics.
