Job summary

You will own a mobile UI automation framework, extend API tests with Playwright, manage cloud device testing, and collaborate with the mobile team to raise quality and release readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA, tester, SDET, or similar, with strong mobile testing expertise.
• Experience building and owning a mobile test automation framework with CI integration.
• Hands-on with Appium and WebdriverIO; solid TypeScript skills.
• Experience testing REST APIs, ideally with Playwright or similar.
• Cloud device testing platforms experience (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, AWS Device Farm).
• Azure DevOps Pipelines or similar CI/CD tooling experience.
• Experience using AI tools to support test automation.
• Comfortable as an individual contributor and primary technical owner.
• Experience testing applications handling sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Build and own a mobile UI test automation framework for iOS and Android.
• Extend Playwright API tests to cover backend data sources.
• Set up and manage cloud device testing infrastructure.
• Define testing processes, regression strategy, and release readiness.
• Collaborate with mobile devs on testability and quality standards.
• Align mobile testing with the broader QA organization.
• Apply testing practices for sensitive personal and payment data.
• Leverage AI tools to aid test design and coverage.
