Job summary

Paladin Security is hiring Mobile Security Guards in Salmon Arm, BC. You will conduct patrols, respond to alarms, and inspect properties to protect people and assets. The role requires independent work, strong situational awareness, and reliable communication with dispatch and clients.

Training is provided, with opportunities for career growth and benefits. Qualifications include BC Security Licence, Class 5 BC Driver's Licence, ability to pass a background check, and willingness to work nights

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the security industry.
• Valid BC Security Licence.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, including overnight shifts.
• Physically capable of patrol duties (walking, stairs, driving).
• Flexible availability (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and random mobile patrols.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and service calls.
• Perform interior and exterior property checks.
• Lock and unlock buildings and gates.
• Identify and report security, safety, and maintenance issues.
• Complete detailed incident and patrol reports.
• Communicate with dispatch, clients, and emergency services.
• Operate company vehicles safely and professionally.
• Follow site post orders and company policies.
