Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Mobile Patrol Security Guard in Edmonton, Alberta, to patrol condos, commercial sites, industrial facilities, healthcare sites, and malls. You will help deter incidents, enforce rules, and respond to emergencies, working 12-hour shifts on a full-time basis.

The role requires a valid Alberta security guard license, a Class 5 driver''s licence, and a clear driving record. Prior security experience is a plus; driving in poor weather is expected.

Qualifications

• A valid Alberta security guard licence is required.
• Must have a valid Class 5 driver''s licence.
• 2-3 years clean driver''s abstract.
• Available to work 12 hours rotational shifts.
• Be eligible to work in Canada.
• Minimum 2-3 years of driving in inclement weather.
• 1 year of security experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling in a variety of settings (mobile and foot).
• Enforcing property rules, city by-laws, and other applicable laws.
• Deterring and responding to incidents on the property.
• Responding to various types of emergencies.
• Alarm dispatches and responses.
• Site checks.
• Transports.
• Act as an office representative after hours and coordinate with Control.
• Carry out tasks given by Office Manager/ Control/ Field Manager.
