Job summary

BuildOps is seeking a Product Manager for the Mobile team to bridge engineering, design, and field technicians. You’ll drive sprint planning, groom tickets, and translate customer feedback into actionable work to improve our mobile experience.

You will own release notes, work directly with customers, and help ensure mobile features align with the broader product roadmap. Hybrid, Toronto-based role with equity, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of product management experience or equivalent (engineering, QA, TPM) with shipping software.
• Strong organizational skills and agile execution (grooming, planning, standups, retros).
• Clear written communication for tickets, release notes, and announcements.
• Comfortable talking to customers and translating feedback into actionable tickets.
• Genuine curiosity about mobile app fundamentals (navigation, data loading, offline/sync).
• Bias toward action: ship this sprint and iterate.

Responsibilities

• Lead sprint cadence for the mobile team and manage grooming, planning, and retros.
• Write clear tickets and make prioritization calls to keep backlog healthy.
• Own release notes and feature announcements for mobile releases.
• Meet with customers and field technicians to gather feedback and drive improvements.
• Escalate blockers to keep execution moving and aligned with roadmap.
• Collaborate with engineering leads to ensure releases align with broader roadmap.
• Develop fluency in mobile fundamentals to help other domains design mobile-friendly features.
