Job Description
CUSTOMER
- Identify client financial goals, potential barriers, and provide recommendations, maintaining ongoing relationship/portfolio management.
- Refer clients to Partners across Wealth, Retail, Small Business Banking, and Commercial sectors.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of clients' financial situations, fostering long-term relationships through financial planning and ongoing services.
- Create a positive customer experience at every interaction, engaging in sales, service, and informational conversations.
- Provide sound advice, contribute to improving customer experience, and support ONE TD by referring clients internally.
- Maintain knowledge of the real estate market, mortgage lending industry, and economic trends.
- Proactively learn about TD mortgage products and ensure professional handling of customer issues, escalating when necessary.
- Develop sales skills, credit knowledge, and collaborate within TD’s culture, working closely with District Managers.
SHAREHOLDER
- Achieve sales and business development targets, exceeding monthly mortgage sales goals.
- Promote TD’s brand in the community through participation in local business groups and events.
- Support reporting and process development in compliance with policies and regulations.
- Understand market and industry trends to provide value-added reporting and mitigate risks.
- Manage confidential information discreetly, identify risks, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Monitor team performance, suggest improvements, and uphold a risk-aware culture.
- Complete required compliance training and adhere to conduct codes.
EMPLOYEE / TEAM
- Participate actively in team activities, support service excellence, and communicate effectively.
- Enhance personal knowledge, participate in performance reviews, and support a diverse, positive work environment.
- Assist colleagues, provide training and coaching, and act as a brand ambassador.
Breadth & Depth
- Focus on business development, customer relationship management, and sales advisory within a specialty area.
- Require expanded product knowledge and understanding of competitors and market drivers.
- Coordinate across teams to meet customer needs and execute sales processes, analyzing solutions based on customer data.
- Report to a manager or above, with responsibilities impacting team sales achievement and service standards.
Experience And / Or Education
- Undergraduate degree or community college diploma preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a client-facing, sales, or relationship role.
