Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology.
• CAMRT certification.
• NSCMIRTP licensure.
• Willing to obtain CAR-MAP CME credits (15 hours every 3 years).
• Willing to obtain Breast Imaging I and II courses (25 hours per course).
• Basic Life Support Certification.
• Ability to work independently and organize duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammography and/or ultrasound units to produce high-quality breast images.
• Deliver patient-centred care with minimal supervision.
• Communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and ensure safety in the workplace.
• Travel to the Nova Scotia Breast Screening Mobile Unit and Cape Breton Regional Hospital sites.
