Nova Scotia Health is seeking a Radiological Technologist for a permanent full-time role. You will operate radiological equipment, deliver patient-centered care, and apply ALARA principles across sites including Valley Regional Hospital and affiliated centres.
Required CAMRT certification, NSCMIRTP licensure, and BLS. Mammography/CT experience is preferred. Evening/night/weekend shifts and travel between sites are expected. Compensation is hourly with benefits.

Reporting to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, The Radiological Technologist is responsible for the delivery of patient centered care while operating radiological/accessory equipment with minimal supervision while exercising independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. The Radiological Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic or therapeutic procedures requiring the use of ionizing radiation, applying the ALARA principle, while continuously remaining responsive to and responsible for each patient in their care. The Radiological Technologist is responsible for effective communication in a multidisciplinary/interdisciplinary environment while fostering a culture of safety in the workplace.

Multi-Site: This position is based out of Valley Regional Hospital but may be scheduled to work out of the Eastern Kings Memorial Community Health Centre and the Western Kings Memorial Health Centre.
