Job summary

Skeena Gold + Silver is seeking a Supervisor, Mobile Maintenance for the Eskay Creek Revitalization Project. The role oversees maintenance, repair, and reliability of mobile equipment, with duties spanning planning, leadership, and adherence to safety standards.

Reporting to the Superintendent, you will supervise staff, allocate tasks, and coordinate schedules to minimize downtime while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certification or equivalent required.
• 5+ years as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, mining or heavy industrial experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory/lead-hand experience.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise Mobile Maintenance staff.
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities and priority setting for safety and operations.
• Oversee maintenance programs, schedules, work orders, and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, environmental procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Document maintenance history and provide status updates to the Superintendent.
