Job summary

Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of mechanical personnel at the McIlvenna Bay site on a 14/14 rotation. The role focuses on overseeing maintenance activities, ensuring safe, efficient operation of mechanical systems, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Heavy Duty Mechanic Red Seal, 3+ years in a supervisory mining environment, strong leadership, and experience with CMMS and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Heavy Duty Mechanic Red Seal certification.
• Minimum 3+ years as a Mechanical Supervisor in mining or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of mining equipment maintenance and safety standards.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with budgeting and cost control in Maintenance Operations.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations for mine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of heavy-duty, BEV, and mechanical technicians; provide guidance, training and evaluations.
• Assign tasks to optimize resource use.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure reliability.
• Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain for spare parts inventory and cost control.
• Maintain records of work orders and equipment history.
• Report on equipment performance and costs.
