IGG Canada is seeking a Game Designer to craft engaging gameplay features for mobile SLG titles, reporting to the Lead Designer in a fully on-site Vancouver studio. The role emphasizes player experience, system design, and collaboration across art and programming teams.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in the game industry, familiarity with mobile SLG games, and comfort using AI tools to streamline design, documentation, and iteration. Vancouver-based position with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of internship or professional experience in game industry.
• Experience in mobile SLG games design is strongly preferred.
• Experience with live-service mobile games is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging gameplay features under Lead Designer guidance.
• Ensure player experience through mechanics, progression, and systems.
• Prepare gameplay and system design documents and related assets.
• Coordinate with art and programming teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct product testing and address issues found during reviews.
• Leverage AI tools to support design workflows and documentation.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the team.
