Wajax is seeking an experienced heavy equipment technician to diagnose, service, and repair equipment at the shop or on-site. The role emphasizes high safety standards, accurate documentation, and strong customer communication to authorize and complete servicing.

Candidates should have trade certification and 2-3 years of experience, with a focus on mechanical aptitude and problem solving. Training and certifications are provided, with potential travel to customer sites.

• Strong communication with customers for servicing authorization.
• Willingness to participate in training and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs.
• Service and repair equipment in the shop and on-site for the customer.
• Update and maintain service records and paperwork.
• Meet health and safety requirements and participate in safety training.
• Maintain a professional company image and customer relations.
• Test electrical components and transfer switch/generator operation where required.
