The supervisor will monitor equipment performance using telemetry data and daily inspections, enforce safety and environmental compliance, and manage budgets for repair and maintenance costs while responding to emergency maintenance activities as required.

The supervisor will monitor equipment performance using telemetry data and daily inspections, enforce safety and environmental compliance, and manage budgets for repair and maintenance costs while responding to emergency maintenance activities as required.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Ensure Health & Safety, Compliance, and Environmental Standards: Conduct regular safety training, enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and administer environmental programs to meet company and regulatory standards.
  • Lead and Supervise Maintenance Team: Direct and mentor a team of maintenance personnel, ensuring efficient and safe maintenance activities for heavy mobile equipment.
  • Develop and Implement Maintenance Plans: Create and oversee a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan, coordinate resources for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and manage vendor-based repair recommendations.
  • Monitor and Analyze Equipment Performance: Utilize telemetry data and daily inspections to monitor equipment performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to enhance reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Manage Budgets and Emergency Responses: Create and manage budgets for repair and maintenance costs, oversee purchasing of parts and supplies, and respond to emergency maintenance activities as required.

Work Environment

This role operates in a dynamic manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions. We maintain a drug & alcohol-free workplace. The role is a full-time, five-day-a-week position based in Sechelt, British Columbia.
