Job summary

Royal York Property Management is seeking experienced Electricians to diagnose and repair electrical issues across residential and commercial properties in Ontario. You will work independently, manage appointments via a mobile work app, and perform installations within your verified scope.

Candidates should have 5+ years of electrical experience, own tools and vehicle, and be comfortable with GPS-based scheduling and safety inspections.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of paid professional electrical experience.
• Must hold valid electrical trade status that can be verified.
• Ability to complete assigned electrical work independently without supervision.
• Must be legally able to perform electrical work in Ontario.
• Experience diagnosing residential or commercial electrical jobs.
• Must have your own vehicle to travel between appointments and carry tools.
• Must have your own electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Must have a smartphone capable of GPS and job updates.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety, permits, and inspections.
• Able to test completed work and report issues promptly.
• Basic English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical issues before repairs or replacements.
• Complete service calls, repairs and installations within scope.
• Troubleshoot outlets, switches, lighting, panels and wiring.
• Document findings and parts used; update records.
• Take photos of issues and completed work for records.
• Use mobile app to receive work orders and navigate between sites.
• Travel between appointments using own vehicle.
