Job summary

Royal York Property Management is seeking experienced Electricians to diagnose issues, perform repairs and installations across residential and commercial properties in Ontario. You will work independently, manage appointments via a mobile work app, and document findings with photos while ensuring safety and professional standards.

Applicants should have at least five years of paid electrical experience, a valid trade license, own tools and a vehicle, plus a reliable smartphone with GPS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of paid professional electrical experience.
• Must hold valid electrical trade status verified.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Own vehicle to travel between appointments with tools and supplies.
• Own electrical tools and testing equipment for scope.
• Own smartphone with GPS to read orders and upload photos.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Punctual and GPS-confirmed appointment reliability.
• Must arrive within 30 minutes of scheduled time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical issues before repairs or replacement.
• Complete service calls, repairs, and installations within scope.
• Troubleshoot outlets, switches, lighting, circuits, wiring, and devices.
• Record findings, parts used, and follow-up recommendations.
• Take photos of issues and completed work for records.
• Use mobile work app to manage work orders and statuses.
• Travel between appointments using own vehicle.
