Job summary

Stantec invites a Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) Engineer to join our Buildings team. The role provides technical duties under supervision, with opportunities to design within a data center discipline and guide Designers under a project engineer. Open to any Stantec office location for the right candidate.

Ideal candidates bring an accredited engineering degree, 5+ years in the industry, and familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and power systems software. Data center experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum 5+ years related industry experience preferred.
• Registered professional engineer / EIT or other certification preferred; data center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop basic system designs within own discipline under supervision.
• Delegate tasks to project designers as appropriate.
• Prepare project deliverables per client scope and proposal.
• Coordinate with all disciplines to integrate work and client requests.
• Follow quality management processes and review deliverables.
• Assist with shop drawings, RFIs, site reports and coordination meetings.
• Participate in professional community activities for knowledge growth.
• Support project engineer on related tasks.
• Meet utilization goals and adhere to project budget.
