Job summary

Finning Canada seeks a Mining Technology Implementation Specialist to provide ongoing technical support for MineStar and Caterpillar technologies at Fort McMurray, AB. You will plan, schedule, and track implementation timelines while coordinating with Project Managers, Technicians and customers.

The role requires travel to Western Canada sites up to 50% of working hours, with a 14x14 days/nights rotation and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field may include Business, Project Management, Trades, Computer Technology and/or Engineering.
• Experience in mining or construction operations is expected.
• Knowledge of GPS/GNSS systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects to develop customer requirements and processes for efficient system use.
• Monitor data accuracy and integrity in MineStar and Caterpillar systems.
• Ensure safety procedures are up to date and followed.
• Interact with project managers, sales, and technicians to define and implement MineStar and Caterpillar technology.
• Provide on-site technical support and champion improvement projects for MineStar capabilities.
