Job summary

SSR Mining Inc., Seabee Gold Operation, seeks a qualified Mechanic, Industrial, to install, maintain and overhaul heavy equipment at our remote Saskatchewan camp. The role involves reading blueprints, assembling conveyors, aligning machinery, and servicing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

We value a valid Millwright trade certification and minimum 3 years' experience; mining familiarity is an asset. Expect a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off FIFO schedule from Saskatoon, Prince Albert, or La Ronge.

Qualifications

• Valid Saskatchewan or Inter-provincial Millwright trade certification.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Millwright.
• Mining experience is an asset, gold mining preferred.
• Mill experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Move machinery and equipment with hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Assemble and install equipment including conveyors and tram rails.
• Align machines using hoists, jacks, and precision tools.
• Bolt, weld, or fasten machinery to foundations or structures.
• Read blueprints and install/maintain vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Provide installation and maintenance support as part of a skilled trades team.
