Job summary

Agnico Eagle Mines Limited invites applications for the Senior Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst role at our Macassa Mine and other Ontario operations. You will lead financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting and management reporting to deliver insights that drive performance.

The role supports month‑end close, forecasting, Life of Mine planning, and KPI reporting with dashboards in JDE, Hyperion, Anaplan and Power BI, while ensuring SOX controls and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, accounting, or economics.
• CPA designation completed or in progress is an asset.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
• Experience in mining, industrial, or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance and audit support is a strong asset.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and communicate insights.
• Proven ability to lead forecasting and budgeting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly cost review meetings with budget owners.
• Lead the site forecasting process with departmental leaders.
• Support annual budget and Life of Mine planning.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages.
• Analyze operating expenditures and variance analyses.
• Partner with operational leaders to identify risks and opportunities.
• Perform financial modeling and scenario analyses.
• Monitor workforce, contractor, maintenance and other costs.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in JDE, Hyperion, Anaplan, Power BI.
• Support SOX controls and audits.
• Identify process improvements for reporting efficiency.
