Job summary

Ledcor is seeking a Class 1 Truck Driver / Labourer for a mine-site role in Fort McMurray. The position involves driving a bus, water truck, rock truck or haul truck and performing general labour duties.

Responsibilities include transporting employees within the site, operating heavy vehicles as qualified, and adhering to Ledcor safety policies. Night shifts may be required, and camp accommodations are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 license with clean abstract.
• Minimum 2 years operating water trucks, buses, rock trucks or haul trucks.
• Mining, heavy civil or industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work day or night shifts.
• Pre-access drug and alcohol testing completed.

Responsibilities

• Drive to transport employees within the mine site.
• Operate water truck and other heavy trucks as qualified.
• Perform general labour tasks as required.
• Collaborate with crew and follow safety policies.

Skills

Valid Class 1 license

Truck operation experience

Mining environment experience (pref.)

Up to 50 lbs lifting

Day/Night shift availability

Pre-access drug and alcohol testing

CSSO/BSO/CSO safety orientation
